Editing Gods

There is a vast range of gods, and often more than one for each sentient race.  Where exactly they came from has never been properly explained, and to name them all would take a very wise and learned sage indeed.  Since the creation, they have waxed and waned in relative power, often in synchronicity with the fortunes of their favoured creations, and very occasionally, a god has fallen from power or even been destroyed.  Even less frequently, mortals have gained godhood.

It is thus that there are some gods that are well known, almost without exception by almost all the races, and many who are known only by a few, and sometimes only by a few individuals within that race.  What follows is a list of the more well known ones.
