Type: Shield, rare Requires Attunement

While attuned to the Guardian's Retribution, you can use your reaction to absorb the energy of an incoming spell or ranged attack. The absorbed energy is stored within the shield. On your next turn, as a bonus action, you can release the stored energy as a ranged attack against a target within 60 feet, dealing the absorbed damage back to the target. The stored energy dissipates if not used before the end of your next turn. This ability refreshes after a short or long rest.
