===Known Symbols and Magic=== The Cult of the Final Veil is marked by a distinctive insignia, a black veil draped over a shattered hourglass, symbolising the cult’s rejection of time, fate, and the gods. Members of the cult often wear dark robes adorned with this symbol and conduct their rituals under the light of a black moon (often artificially created using magical darkness). The cult’s magic often registers as strong necromancy or conjuration (linked to undead creation and dark rituals), and shadow magic that clouds their activities from divination spells. Detecting their influence is difficult, as the cult’s members often conceal their dark magic behind layers of wards and anti-scrying measures. The Cult of the Final Veil remains one of the most dangerous and insidious threats to the balance of life and death in Orsein, constantly seeking to unravel the Weave and plunge the world into a state of eternal oblivion.
