Friends with Cormir from their years of service with the Iron Legion, Orich had retired a few years earlier to the village of Tomar's Crossing, where he has married a younger woman and started a family and taken up the role of village blacksmith (and armourer). Recently, Orich has been particularly busy, as his apprentice (''Kylar Birthwitch, his friend and the nephew of Councilmember <u>[[Colinus Birthwitch]]</u>'') has been missing for a couple of weeks.
