When subjected to the spell "Detect Magic," the Guardian's Retribution emanates a moderate aura of Abjuration and an enchantingly faint aura of Evocation.

Type: Gem, rare 
When invoked, the Gem can perform several of different functions.
* Consuming no charges, it can cast light on itself, shedding a uniform unwavering light in 30' radius (dim light for a further 30').
* Consuming 1 charge, it can send out a flash of light to blind a single target within 60 feet (DEX save DC17 to avoid)
* Consuming 5 charges, it can flash brightly, blinding all within a 30' cone (DEX save DC17 to avoid).

Anyone blinded by the flash regains their sight after 5 rounds. Doesn't affect creatures that can't see. Creatures that have light sensitivity have disadvantage on the save and are also stunned for 1 round as well as blinded if they fail their save.
