	When the PCs rescued people from Fort Frostfell, and returned with a wagon loaded with supplies, she was particularly grateful, and by way of thank you - provided a Gem of Brightness to Cormir, who she seemed particularly taken with and assumed was the leader of the three unusual looking adventurers. Later, when the party were asking about magic users, she reluctantly admitted that it was not common knowledge, but she was in fact a magic user - a sorcerer (''who therefore must have some Al'Shekeim blood''), but even so she did have access to an Identify spell... She also let the party in on another secret. She had come to Tomar's Crossing several years ago from Safeharbour, when she fled her former teacher (''named Merriath the Quick'') - another sorcerer who, ever since learning that Dragons '''were''' real after all, had lost her mind, and believed that if she drank the blood of all of her sorcerous students, she too ~~would~~ become a dragon. In return for investigating, Kadra gave Drex an identify spell so that he could copy it - and that evening, following Drex's less than subtle investigation, Merriath attempted to kill Kadra but was interrupted by Morthos and Cormir. Things went sideways, and even with the help of a dwarven cleric Mogadon Ironheart, a newcomer to Tomar's crossing (''and a new PC''), Merriath escaped.

			Kadra is now paranoid that Merriath will attempt to get her again, and, with help from the other council member and druid Paumine Sandlewood, is trying to mend her damaged house.
