	The party first encountered this sword in the hands of the wight Gothmog Plaguereaper when he attacked them in the cellars below <u>[[Fort Frostfell]]</u>, back in <u>[[Session004\|Session 004]]</u>. The origins of the sword before then are currently unknown, though when it ~~was identified~~, the command word to make it light up was in Pacedonian, so that ~~hints~~ at the nationality of the person who made in no doubt. 			Morthos was the first one to pick the sword up - and when she tried to hand it to Cormir, he was shocked by it, taking necrotic damage. It seems that the sword is aligned in some way and Cormir's naturally good nature was abhorrent to it.

			When the detect magic ritual was first used on it, it radiated strong abjuration, transformation and necromantic magical auras.
