Session Sixteen - 8th December 2023

Stepping outside into the light of an overcast late afternoon, the group quickly hid as best they could and readied themselves in case the half-ogre and his companions chased them outside. After a moment, during which Cormir hid at the foot of a large brass statue of a giant dwarf - a pair of which were positioned outside the entrance to the ziggurat. Drex jumped up and pulled himself up to the next level of the pyramid on the same side as Cormir, Morthos did the same on the other and Mogadon simply hid around the corner.

• Cormir and Mogadon fight with Half Ogre, Crossbow man and wizard taking pot-shots from entranceway,
• Drex gets attacked by one of two men who had been hiding further up the ziggurat
• In the melee, Mogadon steps between the statues heading in rather than out and one of the statues animates to block him, transforming into a fiery looking dwarf radiating intense heat.
• Under pressure, Half-ogre, crossbow man and wizard retreat back inside and the party retreat, chasing after the golem, (did the crossbow man die?)
• Drex kills one of the men on the ziggurat as he catches up with the others, who had found the golem wading in mud around the corner of the ziggurat.
• The group command the golem to climb with them to the top of the ziggurat and hold the rope for them so they can climb back into it from above and lock themselves into the room with the hand print door to rest up.
• The Golem was given an instruction to not take any instructions from anyone who wasn't a dwarf - but the party weren't sure if the golem could understand commands of that complexity.

Questions: Where was the golem left? Presumably on the roof of the ziggurat.
