Session Thirty One - 17th January 2025[edit]
After resting, the group exited, finding the place quiet. Deciding to explore a little further, they back tracked and found an unnatural like cave that had a couple of bug bear wraiths and a room with a demonic presence.
Sending Spank to peek through the illusionary wall, Drex could see a group of six cultists in a tight circle. Without thinking about it any further, he fired out a fireball at the group, judging the distance in his mind.
The group lurched into action and charged into the room, only to find the cultists scattered and hiding in the shadows. Their leader, an armoured woman, summoned a plague of insects, covering the entrance and Cormir, though he manages to ignore them, successfully avoiding being injured by them (Critical success on the save!). Morthos, coming through the illusionary entrance is immediately engulfed in the biting insects however and stumbles out to one side in pain before he spots a tattooed cultist in the corner.
Mogadon also steps through and gets bitten as well, before stepping the other way and spotting the armoured woman that must be the woman Elva that the ghost druid had told them about.
