Description

This Gauntlet is crafted from a interlocking pieces of obsidian and mithral. The obsidian has a faint, ever-shifting, twilight-like shimmer.

Magical Aura

When subjected to the spell "Detect Magic," the Twilight's Embrace Amulet emanates a faint aura of Abjuration and Necromancy.

Details

Type: Amulet, uncommon Requires Attunement. While wearing the Twilight's Embrace Amulet, you gain resistance to necrotic damage. Additionally, you can use an action to activate the amulet's magic, granting yourself and up to five allies within 30 feet of you temporary hit points equal to your cleric level. This ability can be used once per long rest.

Within Gardong Marhold, it is used to control the force cage for the prison, as well as open some doors and provide absolute control of the Golem.

History

Crafted by the head priest of Cay Naja, the gauntlet was crafted as a pair to primarily help defend the priests of the death god. The other gauntlet appears to be missing. Last worn by Therath Shortcloak.
