Geography:

The Colonial Lands is the collective name for the various "civilised" settlements on the western continent of Orsein.

The land mass is largely unexplored beyond its eastern coastline, where the middle section has been settled extensively, including communities from Pacedonia, Al'Shekeim, and the various island kingdoms. A massive mountain range stretches north to south, effectively blocking transit to the western coast of the continent without sailing through the dangerous southern waters or crossing the icy wastes to the far north, and to the south, a large forest inhabited by the Cashew tribes prevents further colonisation in that direction. Beyond the coastal towns and cities even, the further inland travelled, the wilder the country and the harder it is to eke out a life. On the northern edge of the Colonial Lands is the Luna Valley, a large area nestled between between two arms of mountains stretching eastward to Delos Bay and, until recently dominated by a massive glacier that has vey recently melted, causing much devastation.
