Harlyot Crushade
Harlyot claims to have once been a member of the Safeharbour watch, but had been washed away in a flood a week or so after the meteor had struck. A human wizard, more specifically a necromancer, named Ralekai Gravemore had saved her life, and told her a chilling story about a Demonplague and his efforts to cure it. He subsequently recruited her to stay at Fort Frostfell and look after a gnome wizard named Horlen Barrypot who Ralekai had also saved, recruited and given the job of searching the mouldy library in the basement of the Fort for anything that might help in his quest for a cure to the plague.
The fort also had goblins and hobgoblins, which Ralekai cowed into also working for him - helping him find "volunteers" to assist him with his research. Harlyot wasn't keen on Ralekai's methods, especially since Ralekai had also left an undead wight named Gothmog at Fort Frostfell to keep the goblinoids under control. When the PCs turned up, Harlyot wasn't that committed to her position to stand in the way of the PCs "dealing" with the goblinoids and the wight - but would continue to stay at the fort making sure Horlen did the research for Ralekai.
